Diane Bittersweet

Celastrus scandens 'Diane'

A named female version of Bittersweet with very colourful fruit. In the fall the leaves turn yellow and the orange seed capsules burst open to reveal red seeds. Requires both male and female plants for fruiting and they need strong support for growing.
